Silent Sector is an old-school open world sci-fi RPG with frenetic battles, crude humor, loose morals and cows. Created with endless love; especially for fans of space pirates, sci-fi westerns and alien encounters!
Silent Sector takes us to a remote part of the galaxy where several factions fight each other over the profits in a new gold rush - in pursuit of an extraordinarily valuable mineral called Eldorite.
Our hero comes into this Wild West universe and very quickly loses both their ship and cargo. You must find a way to repay the debt and take your revenge against Admiral Zed. This truly miserable corner of the universe offers you a chance to try your luck at becoming a successful merchant, rich miner, feared mercenary or a famous adventurer.
Silent Sector was inspired by classic games such as Elite, Freelancer and Rebel Galaxy, the TV-series Firefly and movies like Last Man Standing and Dirty Harry. Unlike similar games, Silent Sector is focused on quick action fights.

Tales from development hell
- The game has been in development for the past four years by only two enthusiastic developers Pavel (programmer) and Mateusz (artist).
- Marcos Coll, one of the most famous harmonica players ever, recorded two songs for the soundtrack.
- Pavel has been developing games for longer than Mateusz has been alive.
- It's the reason why the programmer had to introduce some movies and series (like Firefly or Red Dwarf) to the artist.
- Now the artist thinks, that Firefly is the best series ever too.
- The game was originally supposed to just be a test project for a programmer returning to C++ after 20 years.
- The design has radically changed three times only to return to the initial design (from 90% complete).

About Rake in Grass
Rake in Grass is one of the oldest indie teams in the Czech Republic. Rake in Grass made its name on the worldwide Windows, Mac and Nintendo gaming scene with a co-operative beat 'em up game Rampage Knights. Some of their other popular games are Jets'n'Guns series (side-scrolling shooter), Larva Mortus (horror action game), Undercroft (RPG for PocketPC and iOS platform), Archibald's Adventures (action puzzle game) or Northmark: Hour of the Wolf (card RPG).
